Senior Media Planner

Location: Fort Worth, TX (Hybrid)
Salary: $80K-$85K DOE

 

Our client, a well-established independent advertising agency is seeking a Senior Media Planner to develop and lead integrated media strategies across traditional and digital channels. This role is ideal for a planner who enjoys translating client objectives into data-driven media recommendations and wants exposure to a diverse portfolio of regional and national brands. This is an excellent opportunity for a media planner looking to step into a more strategic role and work across a broad range of clients and media disciplines.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop integrated media plans across broadcast, OOH, print, paid social, digital, and programmatic channels.
  • Analyze audience, market, and competitive data to inform media strategy and investment decisions.
  • Partner with account and creative teams to align media plans with client objectives.
  • Build planning documents, budget allocations, and media recommendations.
  • Support campaign forecasting, targeting strategy, and media mix development.
  • Review campaign setups and provide quality assurance to ensure alignment with approved plans and budgets.
  • Contribute strategic recommendations for client presentations and new business opportunities.
  • Leverage emerging technologies, data, and AI-driven tools to improve planning and performance.

 

 

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of media planning experience within an advertising agency.
  • Experience creating integrated media plans across both traditional and digital channels.
  • Familiarity with audience research and planning tools such as MRI-Simmons, comScore, or similar platforms.
  • Understanding of media math, budget allocation, reach/frequency planning, CPMs, and performance metrics.
  • Exposure to programmatic platforms such as The Trade Desk, StackAdapt, or similar tools.
  • Strong analytical, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Interest in media innovation, AI, and emerging advertising technologies.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
