seeking a Senior Mechanical Project Manager to take full ownership of fast-paced commercial, municipal, HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical projects from initial scope development through final closeout.This is a high-impact role for someone who can estimate the work, build the proposal, manage the customer relationship, coordinate the field team, control the budget, and deliver the project successfully.Projects typically range from $5,000 to $2 million , making this a great fit for a project leader who enjoys variety, autonomy, client interaction, and quick-turn mechanical construction work.The ideal candidate will have strong project management experience, estimating ability, and the confidence to manage multiple projects at once while working directly with owners, general contractors, municipal clients, vendors, subcontractors, and internal leadership.Responsibilities Manage HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical projects from initial site walk through closeoutDevelop scopes of work, estimates, budgets, and project proposalsReview drawings, specifications, field conditions, and customer requirementsLead customer communication throughout the project lifecycleManage procurement, purchasing, scheduling, subcontractors, vendors, and field coordinationOversee project budgets, forecasting, cost control, change orders, and profitabilityCoordinate with field leadership to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to scopeManage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environmentParticipate in site walks, customer meetings, scope reviews, and project planningIdentify risks early and develop practical solutions to keep projects moving forwardSupport process improvement, customer development, and division growthQualifications 7+ years of project management experience in mechanical construction, HVAC, plumbing, service projects, or special projectsStrong estimating experience requiredExperience managing projects from estimate through closeoutBackground with commercial, municipal, public works, JOC, service, or negotiated mechanical projects preferredAbility to read plans, review scopes, develop estimates, and manage project financialsStrong client-facing communication and relationship-building skillsAbility to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and customer priorities at onceStrong leadership skills with field teams, vendors, subcontractors, and internal staffEntrepreneurial mindset and ability to operate with limited handholdingIdeal Candidate The best fit for this role is an experienced mechanical construction professional who wants ownership, autonomy, and visibility.
