Senior Mechanical Preconstruction Manager - Data Centers

A national general contractor is hiring a Senior Mechanical Preconstruction Manager for its mission critical team in the Chicago area. You'll lead preconstruction and estimating for the mechanical scope on data center projects and help shape how the team wins and plans work.

What You'll Do

• Lead mechanical preconstruction and estimating on data center projects
• Build cost models and detailed mechanical estimates
• Review and advise on estimates prepared by team members
• Drive value analysis and constructability reviews
• Support pursuits, interviews and client presentations

What You Bring

• 8+ years of mechanical estimating or preconstruction experience
• Data center or mission critical experience
• Deep knowledge of HVAC, cooling and plumbing systems
• Experience mentoring and training estimators
• Clear communication with owners, designers and trade partners

What We Offer

• Pay range: $140,000–$180,000 per year, based on experience, plus bonus
