Senior Mechanical Estimator - Data Centers

A national general contractor with a busy advanced technology group in Dallas is looking for a Senior Mechanical Estimator to focus on data center and mission critical work. You'll be a key voice on the preconstruction team, shaping mechanical budgets on some of the most complex projects in North Texas. Remote flexibility is available for the right person.

What You'll Do
• Prepare detailed mechanical estimates from conceptual budgets through hard bid and GMP
• Review drawings and specs for HVAC, chilled water, piping and cooling systems and identify scope gaps
• Solicit, level and analyze mechanical subcontractor and equipment pricing
• Partner with preconstruction, operations and design teams on value engineering and constructability
• Build cost models and track historical data for mission critical projects
• Present estimates and recommendations to project leadership and owners

What You Bring
• 7+ years of mechanical estimating experience with a general contractor, construction manager or mechanical subcontractor
• Data center, mission critical or other large, complex project experience
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, materials and installation methods
• Comfort with estimating and takeoff software such as Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff or similar
• Clear communication and the ability to explain numbers to a wide audience
