Senior Mechanical Engineer - Project Lead

Experience with systems architecture development for electromechanical systems; six-axis robotic arms, motion control, pneumatic, mechatronics . Must have strong communication skills, especially within the context of project leadership and client-facing experience .

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 6+ years of experience in custom machine design, industrial equipment, or contract development environment
• SolidWorks
• Must have strong communication skills, especially within the context of project leadership and client-facing experience
• Previous experience providing technical scopes of work, cost estimates
• Experience with systems architecture development for electromechanical systems; six-axis robotic arms, motion control, pneumatic, mechatronics 
• Knowledge of manufacturing methods, material selection, cost control, etc.

Responsibilities:

• Lead applications engineering efforts by leading concept development for custom automation solutions
• Create SOWs for customers based on their technical requirements
• Prepare quotes and estimates based on engineering hours, materials, fabrication, etc.
• Serve as owner and execute projects quoted to customers
• Lead systems through from concept to release to customer
• Support building, testing, and debugging throughout design and systems integration/build efforts
