Senior Mechanical Engineer - PE

Job Summary

Work collaboratively with our team of project managers, engineers, and designers to create high-quality designs for a variety of clients and projects. This position is specific to the heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) field. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project teams to develop HVAC designs.
• Ensure designs meet client requirements and industry standards.
• Conduct equipment sizing and selection, including chillers, boilers, AHUs, fans, ductwork, pumps, and pipes.
• Perform cooling and heating load calculations using Trane Trace or Carrier HAPS.
• Write and edit specifications for various projects.

Qualifications

• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) with 5 to 10 years of experience.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Knowledge of building codes and standards such as IMC and NFPA.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Additional Attributes

• Experience with chilled water plants and boilers (hot water and steam).
• Experience with combined heating and cooling plants (CCHP).
• Proficiency in Autodesk, AutoCAD, and Revit.
• Excellent written and communication skills.
