Collaborating closely with electrical, software, manufacturing, and quality teams, this individual will lead mechanical engineering efforts from concept through production while ensuring products meet performance, quality, and cost objectives.Lead the design and development of mechanical components, assemblies, and systems for new and existing products.Create and maintain detailed CAD models, engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.Conduct engineering analyses including tolerance studies, structural assessments, DFMEA, DFM, and DFA evaluations to optimise product performance.Support prototype development, testing, validation activities, and product launches while driving design improvements based on test results.Collaborate with manufacturing, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to ensure designs are robust, manufacturable, and compliant with applicable standards.The Successful ApplicantThe successful candidate will be an experienced mechanical engineer with a strong product development background and a passion for innovation.
