Senior Mechanical Engineer (Hybrid)

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer for our client to design and support mechanical products, including ammunition handling systems, structures, gun systems, missile launchers, and related mechanisms.

• Research, design, develop, and analyze mechanical products and assemblies.
• Create and maintain parts, assemblies, and drawings using PTC Creo Parametric 11.
• Evaluate designs and test results against engineering standards, military specifications, and product requirements.
• Perform technical analysis, testing, tolerance assessments, and production support.
• Prepare and revise technical documentation and contribute to presentations.
• Work with manufacturing shops, customers, and project teams to resolve design issues and support project schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical field with at least four years of relevant experience; or a relevant master’s degree with at least two years of experience.
• Experience creating moderately complex solid models and mechanical designs in CAD, preferably PTC Pro/ENGINEER or Creo.
• Working knowledge of GD&T under ASME Y14.5 and tolerance stack-up analysis.
• Experience working with internal or external shops to manufacture designs.
• Strong technical problem-solving and written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred: Four or more years of Creo modeling and drawing experience; experience with Windchill or another engineering product data management system; familiarity with military or commercial design standards, military product production, or precision assembly tooling.

Pay Range: $58.00 - $63.00 per hour (Depending on experience and qualifications)
