Salary: $100,000 – $130,000/year
Bonus: 10% target annually
Job SummarySeeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead mechanical engineering and capital projects within a heavy industrial plant. Projects range from $50K to $5M, covering design, fabrication, FAT, commissioning, and startup.
Key Responsibilities* Manage capital projects up to $5M from design through commissioning.* Develop and manage drawings using AutoCAD Mechanical, Inventor, and Vault.* Lead machine FAT, startup, and commissioning activities.* Create/manage BOMs and spare-parts requirements.* Perform equipment/project risk assessments and implement safety measures.* Manage vendors and external contractors.* Provide mechanical engineering support and drive continuous improvement.
Must-Haves* Capital project management experience up to $5M.* Autodesk Inventor 3D modeling and Autodesk Vault experience.* Machine FAT and commissioning experience.* Heavy industrial plant engineering background.* BOM management experience.* Equipment risk assessment experience.* External contractor management experience.
