A growing advanced technology manufacturer is seeking a hands-on engineer to support the design, testing, qualification, and continuous improvement of highly engineered products used in scientific, analytical, and industrial applications. This position offers the opportunity to work on new product development, testing strategy, qualification activities, and manufacturing support within a collaborative engineering environment.
Lead qualification and verification testing activities for new and existing products
Design, develop, and execute test plans, protocols, and validation procedures
Create and improve test fixtures, tooling, and laboratory equipment used for product evaluation
Support new product introduction efforts from concept through production release
Analyze test results and recommend design improvements to enhance performance and reliability
Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, manufacturing, and quality teams to solve technical challenges
Support root cause investigations and corrective action initiatives
Develop engineering documentation, reports, and test procedures
Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and product verification activities

A successful Senior Mechanical Engineer should have:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
5+ years of engineering experience in product development, testing, qualification, or manufacturing environments
Experience developing and executing qualification and verification testing programs
Experience designing test fixtures, tooling, or laboratory equipment
Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and product validation methodologies
Hands-on troubleshooting, testing, and problem-solving experience
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
Highly visible role supporting next-generation product development
Significant ownership over testing, qualification, and fixture design activities
