We’re looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our growing team in Dallas, Texas. This is an opportunity for a licensed engineer to take ownership of meaningful design work, collaborate with talented multidisciplinary teams, work directly with clients, and contribute to a diverse portfolio of complex building projects.

What You’ll Do

You’ll be involved throughout the project lifecycle, from early planning and design through construction. Your responsibilities will include:

• Lead and contribute to mechanical engineering design for a variety of building projects
• Develop mechanical systems, calculations, reports, plans, specifications, and construction documents
• Apply engineering judgment to solve technical challenges and develop practical, cost-effective solutions
• Coordinate designs with architects, structural engineers, electrical engineers, and other disciplines
• Work directly with clients to understand project goals, requirements, and priorities
• Participate in project planning, design coordination, client meetings, presentations, and proposals
• Review drawings, specifications, and technical documentation for quality, accuracy, and compliance
• Apply applicable building codes and industry standards, including FBC, IBC, ASHRAE, and NFPA
• Provide technical guidance and review the work of junior engineers and designers
• Support or lead discipline teams and smaller multidisciplinary project teams
• Participate in quality control reviews and construction observations
• Stay current with industry standards, codes, regulations, and emerging mechanical engineering practices

What You’ll Bring

Required:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university
• Active PE license in good standing
• 7+ years of MEP design experience
• Experience working on major projects and/or multiple moderate-sized projects
• Experience mentoring or providing technical guidance to junior staff
• Working knowledge of FBC, IBC, ASHRAE, and NFPA
• Experience with Revit and AutoCAD
• Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
• Experience contributing to or leading design teams
• Experience with building and site design
• Experience managing or mentoring staff
• Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally as project needs require
• Due to federal contract requirements, this position is limited to candidates who are U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents

Preferred:

• Experience with business development, marketing, proposals, and client coordination
• Ability to obtain and maintain engineering licensure in multiple states
• NCEES certification
