Responsibilities
- Analyze inventory levels and forecast material requirements to support production schedules.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on material needs and availability.
- Develop and maintain inventory management strategies to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
- Utilize advanced planning tools and software to track and report on material usage and trends.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in materials planning.
- Prepare and present reports on inventory performance and material planning metrics to management.
- Manage supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve any supply chain issues.
- Train and mentor junior analysts in materials planning methodologies and tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in materials planning or supply chain analysis.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with various teams.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with ERP systems and advanced planning software is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
