Job TitleLead the development and implementation of new manufacturing technologies and process improvements.Research, evaluate, and introduce innovative production methods to enhance capability and efficiency.Develop process documentation, risk assessments, and operating procedures for new manufacturing systems.Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, throughput, yield, and cost reduction.Develop and optimize advanced permanent magnet material formulations, with a particular focus on rare-earth magnetic materials.Conduct materials characterization, testing, failure analysis, and micro-structural evaluations.Utilize internal and external laboratory resources to validate material performance and product quality.Provide technical leadership and engineering support across melting, milling, powder processing, pressing, and sintering operations.Troubleshoot manufacturing challenges and implement sustainable corrective actions.Collaborate with customers to understand technical requirements and provide guidance on manufacturability and material selection.Support commercial teams with technical assessments, project feasibility studies, and manufacturing cost estimates.Prepare technical papers, presentations, and industry-facing content to promote organizational expertise.Mentor colleagues and contribute to the ongoing development of engineering and manufacturing teams.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
