    We are looking for a Senior Material Coordinator to join our team in one of today’s most exciting technologies.  This role will report to Senior Manager of Operations based in Newark, Delaware.  This is a fully on-site, 5 days in office role

    Role and Responsibilities

    • Coordinate the flow of materials from warehouse to pre-assembly factory before routing to final assembly factories and/or preparing Customer Shipments.
    • Monitor inventory levels and ensure material availability to meet operational requirements.
    • Review material demand, forecasts, and production schedules to identify shortages and excess inventory.
    • Work closely with Procurement, Material Planning, Production Scheduling, Logistics, and Warehouse teams to resolve material issues and resolve material constraint bottlenecks.
    • Track and expedite critical materials and deliveries defined by Production Control and Business Operations.
    • Maintain accurate inventory records within ERP/MRP systems.
    • Conduct inventory audits, cycle counts, and reconciliation activities.
    • Analyze inventory trends and recommend actions to improve efficiency and reduce costs and cycle times.
    • Investigate and resolve material discrepancies, damaged goods, and supplier issues.
    • Develop reports and metrics related to inventory accuracy, material availability, and operational performance.
    • Train, mentor, and support junior material coordinators and material handling personnel.
    • Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on inventory management and material flow processes.

    Skills and Experience

    • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field preferred.
    • 5+ years of experience in materials management, inventory control, warehouse operations, or supply chain roles.
    • Experience using ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, or Microsoft Dynamics.
    • Strong understanding of inventory management principles and supply chain processes.
    • Advanced Microsoft Excel and reporting skills.
    • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • APICS/ASCM certifications (CPIM, CSCP) or equivalent.
    • Experience in manufacturing, distribution, pharmaceutical, automotive, or industrial environments.
    • Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement experience.

    Salary Ranges:

    $61,500.00 - $88,500.00
