You'll use your JavaScript and tag management expertise to deliver reliable analytics solutions while collaborating with product, engineering, commercial, and analytics teams.

Description

As a critical member of the MarTech Tag Management team, you will:

  • Architect, develop, and deploy enterprise tagging solutions within Tealium.
  • Write and maintain high-quality JavaScript tag code across global websites.
  • Partner closely with the Lead Developer and Product Owner to deliver scalable technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with front-end teams to ensure the correct data reaches Tealium at the correct time.
  • Identify and eliminate race conditions that could impact data collection and accuracy.
  • Develop and maintain MarTech solutions supporting digital marketing and analytics initiatives.
  • Help integrate marketing, analytics, CRM, and other technology platforms.
  • Translate business and technical requirements into effective, scalable solutions.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize tagging and data collection performance.
  • Create documentation covering technical configurations, processes, and workflows.
  • Provide technical knowledge and support to internal stakeholders as required.
  • Attend relevant recurring team meetings, including the 10:00 AM MDT daily stand-up.
  • Stay current with emerging trends and technologies across MarTech, analytics, and tag management.

Profile

The successful candidate will ideally have:

  • 5-10 years of professional software development experience.
  • 3-5 years of enterprise development experience.
  • Senior-level skills in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Git.
  • 3-5 years of hands-on Tealium experience, which is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with GTM or another enterprise tag management platform may also be considered.
  • 1-3 years of React and/or Next.js experience.
  • Strong knowledge of data layers, browser-side tracking, tagging, timing, and race conditions.
  • Experience collaborating with front-end developers, product owners, analytics teams, and business stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate technical challenges and solutions clearly.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • The ability to contribute from day one and deliver within a fast-paced environment.

Location: Remote within the US, with the ability to travel occasionally to Broomfield, Colorado.

Candidates must also be able to attend the team's recurring 10:00 AM MDT stand-up and other relevant meetings.
