    Senior Marketing Specialist

    Location: On-site – Rochester, NY
    Travel: Occasional (up to 5%)
    Reporting To: Marketing Manager
    Salary Range: $65,000 – $75,000
    Experience Required: 5–7 years in digital marketing or e-commerce marketing

    Our client is a growing organization in the construction and building solutions industry, operating across both e-commerce and B2B project-based sales. The company is expanding its marketing capabilities and is seeking a hands-on, strategic marketing professional to support continued growth.

    Role Summary
    The Senior Marketing Specialist will be responsible for executing and optimizing marketing strategies across multiple brands. This role focuses on lead generation, e-commerce revenue growth, and brand awareness through digital and traditional marketing channels.


    The position works closely with leadership, manages external vendors, collaborates cross-functionally, and owns campaign execution, reporting, and optimization.

    Key Responsibilities

    Marketing Strategy & Execution

    • Execute marketing strategies across multiple brands

    • Drive lead generation and e-commerce sales growth

    • Increase brand awareness through PPC, SEO, social media, and content marketing

    • Align weekly and monthly marketing plans with leadership objectives

    • Support both high-volume e-commerce sales and a B2B project pipeline

    Team & Vendor Management

    • Support internal teams and cross-functional leaders to meet marketing goals

    • Manage relationships with external vendors (PPC, creative, and design agencies)

    • Track and report monthly marketing expenses in collaboration with finance

    Content & Campaign Management

    • Plan and execute campaigns across PPC, shopping ads, SEO, email, and social media

    • Write and manage ad copy, landing pages, and product descriptions

    • Manage product feeds and optimize performance in merchant platforms

    • Collaborate with sales teams and vendors to achieve campaign KPIs

    • Maintain and update website and product content across CMS and e-commerce platforms

    • Manage product photography and video assets

    Reporting & Planning

    Monthly

    • Deliver marketing performance reports including leads generated, quotes created, website traffic, and content output

    • Provide insights and recommendations to guide future strategy

    • Participate in leadership planning meetings

    • Manage and forecast the monthly marketing budget

    Weekly

    • Coordinate weekly marketing priorities

    • Support content development and campaign execution

    • Assist internal departments with marketing initiatives as needed

    Technology & Tools

    • E-commerce platforms (Magneto or similar)

    • CRM and analytics tools

    • Project management and collaboration software

    • SEO and competitive research tools

    Experience with Shopify, WooCommerce, or similar platforms is a plus.

    Marketing Channels

    • Paid search (Google Ads, Microsoft Ads)

    • SEO and product feed optimization

    • Social platforms including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and YouTube

    Required Skills & Qualifications

    • 5–7 years of experience in digital marketing, e-commerce, or performance marketing

    • Strong project management and prioritization skills

    • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

    • Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills

    • Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and accountability

    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
