Description

This role is based in US on a hybrid basis - we ask that you are in the office 2-3 days per week, with the flexibility to work remotely for the remainder of the week.

Your time is valuable. To help with your application, we advise that regrettably we cannot offer work permit sponsorship/self sponsorship for this role.

The Opportunity

Brightflag is looking for a Marketing Manager to manage the execution of two of our growth levers: email and paid media. This is a hands-on role - you'll build campaigns yourself, rather thandirecting others to build them. You'll partner with the broader Marketing, RevOps, and Product teams to align paid and owned programs with product launches, campaigns, and pipeline targets. You'll report performance against shared goals like lead quality (think ICP-fit accounts) and pipeline contribution. This is a hybrid role: 2-3 days a week in our NYC (Financial District) office (with incredible views!)

This role is for you if you think in pipeline, not only impressions.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Manage the execution of email marketing programs end-to-end in HubSpot - building, optimizing copy for conversion (with support from the content team), QA, sending, and reporting

  • Build segmentation lists and personalization tactics that improve conversion and overall performance

  • Run experiments and document learnings (subject line standards, copy length, CTA hierarchy, personalization use cases) and share findings with the broader marketing team so it compounds beyond your own campaigns

  • Maintain strong email list hygiene and deliverability practices

  • Manage paid execution across Google Ads, Reddit Ads, LinkedIn Ads, G2, and emerging channels (e.g. ChatGPT ads) to drive pipeline across segments

  • Define targeting and retargeting audiences (with Demand Gen support), build the assets yourself - pull a compelling angle from copy the content team provides, direct the visuals, and cut short video when needed. Then launch, monitor, and optimize based on performance.

  • Set up conversion tracking, bid strategy, and attribution reporting

Skills & Experience

To be successful in the role, you need:

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in paid acquisition and growth marketing, ideally in B2B SaaS or performance marketing agency experience

  • Strong instincts for what makes owned and paid programs convert

  • Deep knowledge of Google Ads and LinkedIn Ads (Reddit, G2, and ChatGPT ads a plus)

  • Strong HubSpot experience - builds and sends campaigns independently including segmentation, smart content, forms, sequences, and reporting

  • Real, sustained experience building and iterating on both email and paid campaigns - long enough to test a hypothesis and learn from it

  • Experience using AI to accelerate creative development, uncover insights, and optimize at scale

  • Understanding of enterprise sales with long, multi-stakeholder buying cycles

  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills - comfortable working with RevOps, Product Marketing, Content, and Demand Gen

  • Strong project management skills - able to run multiple concurrent campaigns

  • Critical thinker who interrogates the work rather than just executing playbooks

The following are a bonus!

  • Reddit, G2, and ChatGPT Ads experience

  • Clay experience
