About the Role

This role involves leading process and equipment improvements to enhance manufacturing performance. The position exists to collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and develop robust processes. It contributes to the organization by ensuring high yield, throughput, and cycle time optimization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead complex equipment or process changes and support replication across sites.
  • Investigate process issues to improve yield, throughput, and cycle time.
  • Evaluate new equipment, execute process experiments, and implement corrective actions.
  • Support installation, commissioning, and ramp-up of capital equipment and automation systems.
  • Manage technical staff, including training, mentoring, and performance reviews.
  • Drive continuous improvement through FMEA, PFMEA, Control Plans, and cycle time optimization.
  • Work cross-functionally at the local level while collaborating with global teams on process improvements.
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and good housekeeping standards.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Engineering or Physical Sciences (or equivalent).
  • 8 years of process engineering or R&D experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong background in automation, robotics, AGV/AMR, and semiconductor processes.
  • Fluent in statistical analysis and structured problem-solving.
  • Experience in leading small technical teams and performance management.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, ISO 9000, SPC, Six Sigma, and FMEA/PFMEA.
  • Proficient in MS Office, Power BI, and statistical tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, including executive-level presentations.
  • Proven project and change management expertise.

Work Environment

  • Travel: Up to 5% domestically for training, equipment support, and other manufacturing locations.
