Senior Manufacturing Engineer

The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will:

  1. Lead the transfer of new products and manufacturing processes into production environments.
  2. Manage multiple manufacturing and product development projects from launch through commercialization.
  3. Develop and implement robust manufacturing processes, tooling, fixtures, and production methods.
  4. Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, efficiency, capacity, and safety.
  5. Partner directly with customers and internal stakeholders to support technical project execution.
  6. Provide day-to-day production support by troubleshooting process and equipment-related issues.
  7. Create, revise, and maintain manufacturing documentation, procedures, and work instructions.
  8. Analyze manufacturing data and identify opportunities to improve operational performance.
  9. Lead validation activities including equipment qualification and process validation protocols.
  10. Support equipment commissioning, preventative maintenance programs, and process readiness activities.
  11. Apply structured problem-solving methodologies to resolve technical and operational challenges.
  12. Prepare engineering reports, project updates, and technical presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  13. Collaborate with quality, operations, development, and production teams to ensure on-time project delivery.
  14. Drive best practices in manufacturing, process control, and operational excellence.

The Senior Manufacturing Engineer should have the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Minimum 6 years of manufacturing engineering experience.
  • Experience supporting new product introduction (NPI) and product development processes.
  • Strong analytical and technical problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience using statistical analysis tools such as DOE, regression analysis, process capability studies, and ANOVA.
  • Proficiency with CAD software such as SolidWorks and experience designing tooling or fixtures.
  • Strong understanding of GD&T and engineering drawing interpretation.
  • Experience leading process validation activities and manufacturing documentation development.
  • Demonstrated project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
