    SENIOR MANUFACTURING ENGINEER (Permanent)
    Our client, an established, international and well-known organization with roots in WNY (located in the South Towns), is looking to hire a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join their Complex CNC Milling team.  This

    joins a fantastic team, provides stability, and is an excellent opportunity with room for professional development.


    Responsibilities:

    • Spearhead the creation of complex manufacturing processes utilizing Desig​n for Manufacturing (DFM) initiatives
    • Perform end-to-end process engineering from raw material to finished product
    • Analyze and revamp current production processes with a hands-on approach and engagement with floor level team members
    • Develop SOPs with detailed work instructions for programs, tooling/gauge lists, operations sequences, etc.
    • Run tests to prove process implementation and ensure floor team is trained appropriately
    • Provide estimates for labor ratios, time standards, and run quantities for complex parts to contribute to cost estimates for new business as well as process improvements
    • Research, analyze, and implement new equipment/technologies for capital improvements
    • Advocate for automated manufacturing tools to reduce labor and decrease variability
    • Act as an owner and lead the engineering portion of specific manufacturing projects
    • Collaborate with various internal team members—engineering, operations, technicians, quality, etc.—in an effort to streamline operations and complete projects in a timely manner
    • Complete special projects as assigned
    • Other duties as assigned/as necessary


    Details:

    • Position is full-time, direct hire
    • 100% in-office
    • $115,000 - $145,000 base annually depending on experience + sign-on bonus

    • 5+ years’ experience with a Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, Associate’s degree with 8+ years’ experience, High School Diploma/GED with 10+ years’ experience
    • Proficient computer skills; experience with CAD/CAM required (Siemens NX, Mastercam, or similar)
    • ​Knowledge/experience in 5-Axis CNC Milling 
    • Hands-on machining experience (set up and operation) with a variety of materials
    • Great interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
    • Strong organization skills and time management skills
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Self-motivated, driven, energetic, great personality and communication skills
    • Willingness to travel, as needed
    • Relocation assistance available for anyone outside of 50 miles of facility
    • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States; Visa sponsorship is not available
