SENIOR MANUFACTURING ENGINEER (Permanent)
Our client, an established, international and well-known organization with roots in WNY (located in the South Towns), is looking to hire a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join their Complex CNC Milling team. This

Responsibilities:
- Spearhead the creation of complex manufacturing processes utilizing Design for Manufacturing (DFM) initiatives
- Perform end-to-end process engineering from raw material to finished product
- Analyze and revamp current production processes with a hands-on approach and engagement with floor level team members
- Develop SOPs with detailed work instructions for programs, tooling/gauge lists, operations sequences, etc.
- Run tests to prove process implementation and ensure floor team is trained appropriately
- Provide estimates for labor ratios, time standards, and run quantities for complex parts to contribute to cost estimates for new business as well as process improvements
- Research, analyze, and implement new equipment/technologies for capital improvements
- Advocate for automated manufacturing tools to reduce labor and decrease variability
- Act as an owner and lead the engineering portion of specific manufacturing projects
- Collaborate with various internal team members—engineering, operations, technicians, quality, etc.—in an effort to streamline operations and complete projects in a timely manner
- Complete special projects as assigned
- Other duties as assigned/as necessary
Details:
- Position is full-time, direct hire
- 100% in-office
- $115,000 - $145,000 base annually depending on experience + sign-on bonus

- 5+ years’ experience with a Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, Associate’s degree with 8+ years’ experience, High School Diploma/GED with 10+ years’ experience
- Proficient computer skills; experience with CAD/CAM required (Siemens NX, Mastercam, or similar)
- Knowledge/experience in 5-Axis CNC Milling
- Hands-on machining experience (set up and operation) with a variety of materials
- Great interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong organization skills and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Self-motivated, driven, energetic, great personality and communication skills
- Willingness to travel, as needed
