Senior Manufacturing Accountant

Our manufacturing client in the Greenfield MA area is seeking to hire a Senior Manufacturing Accountant to support financial reporting, compliance, and accounting operations. This is a great opportunity for an experienced accounting professional looking to make an impact within a growing organization.

Your qualifications for the Senior Manufacturing Accountant position are as follows:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
  • 7+ years of accounting experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
  • Manufacturing accounting experience a plus
  • Experience with ERP/accounting systems
  • Background in month-end close and account reconciliations
  • Strong Excel, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

For the Senior Manufacturing Accountant, your duties will include:

  • Support monthly and annual financial close activities
  • Prepare financial reports, reconciliations, and journal entries
  • Maintain accurate accounting records and general ledger activity
  • Assist with audits, tax support, and compliance reporting
  • Support inventory and manufacturing-related accounting functions
  • Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
  • Partner with various departments to improve reporting and processes
  • Help identify efficiencies, strengthen controls, and support system improvements
