Senior Manufacturing Accountant
Our manufacturing client in the Greenfield MA area is seeking to hire a Senior Manufacturing Accountant to support financial reporting, compliance, and accounting operations. This is a great opportunity for an experienced accounting professional looking to make an impact within a growing organization.
Your qualifications for the Senior Manufacturing Accountant position are as follows:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- 7+ years of accounting experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
- Manufacturing accounting experience a plus
- Experience with ERP/accounting systems
- Background in month-end close and account reconciliations
- Strong Excel, analytical, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

For the Senior Manufacturing Accountant, your duties will include:
- Support monthly and annual financial close activities
- Prepare financial reports, reconciliations, and journal entries
- Maintain accurate accounting records and general ledger activity
- Assist with audits, tax support, and compliance reporting
- Support inventory and manufacturing-related accounting functions
- Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Partner with various departments to improve reporting and processes
- Help identify efficiencies, strengthen controls, and support system improvements
