JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Manager, Travel Insurance and Financial Protection Program will lead the day-to-day management, performance, and growth of Marriott's Travel Insurance and Financial Protection Programs. Reporting to the Senior Director, Global Cards and Insurance, this role is responsible for overseeing program operations, managing key partner relationships, and driving initiatives that enhance customer experience and business performance.
The position will lead efforts to optimize and grow current programs and expand travel insurance into key international markets, coordinating launch planning and execution with internal stakeholders, external partners, and consultants. The role will also support the evaluation, integration, and commercialization of new financial protection products and services, including insurance, warranty, guarantee, assistance, and other offerings.
Working cross-functionally with teams across Legal, Risk Management, Finance, Technology, Marketing, and Operations, the Senior Manager will support growth opportunities, optimize program performance, monitor business and customer experience metrics, and ensure regulatory and operational requirements are met. The ideal candidate is a strategic, highly organized problem solver who can manage multiple priorities simultaneously, influence stakeholders, and independently drive complex initiatives from strategy through execution.
