Job Description:
- Pay: 70.18/hr (W2)
- 1-year assignment with potential to extend based on performance and business need
- Fully remote role, will need to accommodate EST hours
- You will lead commercial supply chain planning and management for pharmaceutical products, supporting planning, sourcing, logistics, and supplier relationships
- Develop and maintain demand forecasts, incorporating market trends, promotional activities, product launches, and regulatory considerations
- Create and execute supply plans aligned with demand, production capacity, and inventory targets
- Manage strategic supplier relationships, including contract manufacturing organizations (CMOs), and oversee supply agreements, purchase orders, and manufacturing service agreements
- Support the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process and contribute to supply chain governance forums
- Use data analytics, forecasting tools, and ERP systems to improve forecast accuracy, decision-making, and supply chain performance
- Identify and mitigate supply risks, including capacity constraints, supplier compliance issues, and regulatory delays
- Ensure supply chain activities are compliant with applicable regulations and aligned with budget and financial commitments
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 8+ years of relevant supply chain planning/management experience without a master’s degree, 6+ years will be considered with a Master’s
- Pharmaceutical or biotech industry experience is required
- Strong commercial supply chain planning experience
- Experience with ERP systems and planning tools, specifically end-to-end Planning, purchasing, and Inventory management processes
- 3 – 5 years of proficiency with ERP system, forecasting tools, and advanced Excel
- Experience with supplier/vendor management, particularly CMO relationships
- Experience supporting or leading S&OP processes
- Strong understanding of FDA regulations, GMP manufacturing, quality assurance, and regulatory requirements
- Strong negotiation skills and experience working with suppliers, internal customers, and upper management
- Financial acumen, budgeting experience, and ability to assess business and financial implications of supply chain decisions
