Looking to join an exciting team?  This is your spot!  We’re looking for experienced sourcing professionals with a knack for strategic relationship building.We would love to have you join Sourcing, a truly superpowered sourcing team aligned throughout the enterprise, all with the member at the heart of what we do!As Senior Manager, Sourcing, Home & Hardlines for Sam’s Club, you will use your expertise, vision, strategic thinking, and influencing skills to drive the profitable growth of the Member’s Mark Home & Hardlines business at Sam’s Club. You will partner closely with Product Developers, Merchants, cross-functional teams, and suppliers—always keeping the club member at the center of every decision.

What you'll do:

  • Collaborate to define sourcing strategy: You will support forming the  sourcing strategy for Member’s Mark Home & Hardlines, ensuring a clear vision that is tightly aligned with merchants and product development. You will conduct end-to-end cost negotiations and optimize the supplier portfolio to drive profitable growth while elevating the club member experience.
  • Build relationships and influence decisions: You will leverage strong influencing and leadership skills to build trusted partnerships with product developers, merchants, cross-functional teams, and suppliers. Together, you will deliver high-quality items at disruptive price points with Surety of supply.
  • Be a category and supplier expert: You will develop deep expertise in your categories and supplier base, always anticipating what is next for the business. You will identify, assess, and onboard suppliers that bring innovation, differentiated capabilities, and a shared commitment to long-term success. You will unlock the full value of strategic suppliers by activating mutually beneficial, win-win partnerships.

You’ll make an impact if you have:
  • Global experience in Sourcing, Merchandising or Procurement, especially sourcing in Home & Hardlines
  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in retail, manufacturing, or sourcing industry.
  • 3+ years of experience in major brands, or importer/agent serving major retail customers/members.
  • Strong strategic orientation and storytelling skills.
  • Strong AI and technology orientation, with advanced digital and analytical skills.
  • Proven negotiation and communication skills with a strong track record of results.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Demonstrated project management and planning capabilities.
