    McCarran, NV | Full-Time | $160,000 – $200,000

    The Opportunity

    This is the top field-leadership seat for self-perform electrical work across a major Nevada industrial operation. Our client, a rapidly scaling clean energy innovator, is hiring a Senior Manager of Construction to run their entire electrical self-perform organization — a team of superintendents, electrical and mechanical tradesmen, and multiple concurrent field crews. From preconstruction through start of production, including live-plant modifications under shutdown schedules, you own the safety, schedule, budget, and people.

    What You'll Do

    • Manage all aspects of the electrical and mechanical self-perform organization — construction, budget, and cash management across multiple projects
    • Lead a team of superintendents and field crews across electrical and process piping scopes
    • Develop schedules, project procedures, staffing plans, and equipment resources
    • Conduct weekly safety checks and monthly reviews with EHS support; champion the safety program
    • Assess design documents for completeness; resolve spec conflicts and scheduling issues with designers and field teams
    • Identify scope conflicts and constructability issues; escalate for leadership support when needed
    • Serve as the main point of contact for operations, maintenance, procurement, document control, and government agencies
    • Manage plant modifications and scope additions in shutdown-schedule environments
    • Approve staffing and equipment needs; advise on procurement methods and contracts
    • Lead dispute resolution, project closeout, and debrief cycles
    • Coach, mentor, and grow project personnel

    What You'll Bring

    • 20+ years of construction supervision; 15+ years managing field personnel
    • 10+ years of electrical construction experience as both tradesman and supervisor
    • Proven record driving trades crews to safety, schedule, and production milestones
    • Experience managing superintendents and crews across electrical and mechanical scopes
    • Plant shutdown scheduling and coordination experience
    • Bachelor's in engineering or related field a plus; valid driver's license
    • Advanced Procore, MS Office, and Excel skills; P6 or similar scheduling knowledge
    • Strong risk management, delegation, and executive communication ability
    • Comfort with weekend/night/on-call work and physical field demands
    • A passion for sustainability
