Director, Site Acquisition and Location Strategy

Location: Dallas, TX

Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary: $150,000 - $180,000 Base

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage development activities across existing portfolio assets.
  • Identify and evaluate new sites for potential acquisition.
  • Oversee due diligence and entitlement processes, including legal and regulatory approvals, zoning, land use permits, environmental reviews, utility agreements, and building permits.
  • Secure ancillary easements to support utility agreements.
  • Provide regular updates and communicate key milestones to senior management.
  • Prepare and deliver investment committee materials for prospective acquisitions.
  • Maintain oversight through construction and project execution.

Desired Experience

  • Experience working with leading data center developers and operators.
  • Strong exposure to the Dallas market.
  • Demonstrated ability to source, drive, and close deal flow within the market.
  • Full ownership experience managing acquisitions and development opportunities.
  • Extensive due diligence experience.
  • Candidates without data center experience may be considered if they have a commercial real estate background with firms such as Transwestern or Trammell Crow Company.
