Senior Manager, Production Planner - Manufacturing

Position Summary...

The Senior Manager, Production Planning leads production scheduling, inventory planning, raw material management, and capacity optimization within a manufacturing environment. This role partners closely with operations, maintenance, supply chain, farm, and home office teams to ensure efficient production, high service levels, inventory accuracy, cost control, and continuous improvement while developing and leading a high-performing team.

What you'll do...

• Lead production planning and scheduling to meet customer demand, inventory targets, and operational efficiency goals.
• Develop weekly and monthly production plans using sales forecasts, capacity constraints, and supply outlooks.
• Monitor inventory, raw materials, reusable assets, and production performance to ensure operational continuity.
• Partner with Operations, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Farm teams to align production, maintenance, and sanitation schedules.
• Analyze forecasts, inventory trends, and production data to identify risks and improve throughput, quality, and service levels.
• Communicate schedule changes, shortages, inventory concerns, and supply constraints to plant and home office leadership.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, cycle time reduction, inventory management, and cost optimization.
• Lead, coach, and develop associates while fostering a culture of accountability, compliance, safety, and inclusion.

About the Team

Join a high-impact Manufacturing Operations team responsible for ensuring products are produced, planned, and delivered efficiently to meet customer demand. This team serves as the critical connection between Production, Supply Chain, Maintenance, Farm Operations, and Home Office partners, driving inventory optimization, production planning, and operational excellence across the facility.

As part of this leadership team, you'll play a key role in balancing capacity, inventory, service levels, and cost efficiency while leading continuous improvement initiatives that support a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You'll work alongside experienced operations leaders and develop teams that are committed to safety, quality, innovation, and delivering results for our customers every day.



What You'll Bring

• Experience in production planning, manufacturing operations, supply chain, or inventory management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable decisions.
• Expertise in forecasting, capacity planning, inventory control, and materials management.
• Ability to influence and collaborate across cross-functional teams and multiple levels of leadership.
• Experience utilizing ERP and planning systems such as SAP and other production scheduling tools.
• Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to develop teams and drive performance.
• Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The annual salary range for this position is $116,000.00 - $174,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
- Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location)
- Stock
