Role Summary
We are seeking a Senior Manager, Reporting & Analytics to lead the organization's reporting function while laying the foundation for a broader analytics capability. This leadership role is ideal for a hands-on manager who enjoys building governance, improving operational rigor, developing talent, and creating reporting solutions that drive business performance.

This individual will oversee reporting delivery across onshore and offshore resources while partnering closely with operational and corporate stakeholders to ensure reporting is accurate, scalable, and aligned with business needs. The position will play a critical role in establishing reporting standards, managing priorities, improving data quality, and expanding the organization's analytical capabilities over time.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day Reporting and Analytics operations, establishing priorities, delivery expectations, accountability, and performance standards across onshore and offshore teams.
• Manage, develop, and mentor Report Developers, including recruiting, onboarding, coaching, performance management, and career development.
• Oversee the full reporting lifecycle, including intake, requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, support, change management, and retirement.
• Establish and maintain reporting governance standards, documentation practices, approval processes, and audit trails for reporting solutions.
• Develop and manage a comprehensive reporting inventory that documents report ownership, source systems, business definitions, dependencies, and lifecycle status.
• Partner with Finance, Accounting, Clinical Operations, Billing, Compliance, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver sustainable reporting solutions.
• Drive consistency across KPIs, business metrics, and reporting definitions while eliminating duplicate or conflicting reports.
• Manage reporting backlogs, resource capacity, timelines, risks, and delivery commitments across multiple concurrent initiatives.
• Lead resolution of production reporting issues through troubleshooting, root cause analysis, stakeholder communication, and corrective actions.
• Identify opportunities to expand analytics capabilities, improve automation, and enhance decision-making through data-driven insights.

Key Requirements

• 7+ years of progressive experience in reporting, business intelligence, analytics, data management, or related technology functions.
• 4+ years of experience supporting business, operational, or enterprise reporting within the healthcare industry.
• 3+ years of leadership experience managing reporting, BI, analytics, or data teams, including offshore, distributed, or vendor-supported resources.
• Proven people-management experience with responsibility for hiring, coaching, performance management, and team development.
• Strong hands-on expertise with SQL Server, Power BI, and data analysis, including the ability to understand and guide the resolution of complex reporting and data challenges.
• Experience establishing and managing requirements gathering, SDLC processes, testing methodologies, documentation standards, change control, release management, and production support practices.
• Demonstrated success improving reporting governance, data validation, metric consistency, reporting inventories, and overall reporting quality.
• Strong business partnership skills with the ability to communicate effectively across technical teams, operational stakeholders, and senior leadership.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Analytics, Business, or a related field; equivalent professional experience will also be considered.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building or maturing analytics capabilities within a growing organization.
• Strong understanding of healthcare operations, reporting frameworks, regulatory considerations, and business processes.
• Experience managing reporting and analytics programs supporting Finance, Revenue Cycle, Clinical Operations, or Compliance functions.
• Knowledge of data governance, business intelligence best practices, and enterprise reporting strategies.
• Experience leading reporting modernization, automation, or analytics transformation initiatives.
