The Senior Manager of Loan Operations will work from a location within AgGeorgia's Georgia service territory. The Senior Manager of Loan Operations provides strategic leadership and oversight for all Loan Operations activities across the Association. This role is responsible for ensuring loan processing, documentation, servicing, collateral administration, reporting, and operational support functions are efficient, accurate, compliant, and customer-focused. The Senior Manager will lead a team of operational professionals, drive process improvements, manage operational risk, and support the Association's strategic objectives.

    Loan Operations Leadership:
    • Lead and oversee all Loan Operations functions across the Association, including loan processing, documentation, servicing, collateral administration, and reporting.
    • Ensure loan operations activities are completed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with Association policies and regulatory requirements.
    • Establish and maintain operational procedures, service standards, and controls that support departmental and organizational goals.
    • Monitor workloads, service levels, and operational performance, implementing corrective actions and process improvements as needed.
    • Ensure staffing and resources effectively support lending activities across the Association.
    • Build strong partnerships with Lending, Credit, Finance, Technology, and other departments to support business objectives.
    • Provide leadership and operational guidance for departmental and organizational initiatives.
    Management & Workforce Development:
    • Directly supervise Regional Operations Managers and provide leadership to the Loan Operations team.
    • Establish performance expectations and hold team members accountable for results.
    • Coach, mentor, and develop employees to support professional growth and succession planning.
    • Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, exceptional customer service, and continuous improvement.
    • Evaluate staffing needs and support workforce planning initiatives.
    • Promote employee engagement and development opportunities.
    Risk Management, Compliance & Internal Controls:
    • Maintain effective internal controls and operational procedures that support compliance and risk management.
    • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, Farm Credit requirements, and Association policies.
    • Identify and address operational risks related to loan processing, servicing, documentation, and customer service.
    • Ensure appropriate system access, security controls, and segregation of duties are maintained.
    • Oversee corrective actions resulting from audits, examinations, operational reviews, and management recommendations.
    • Support Association-wide compliance, risk management, and operational effectiveness initiatives.
    Process Improvement & Technology:
    • Identify opportunities to improve operational processes, service quality, and efficiency.
    • Lead departmental projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Partner with technology and business teams to implement workflow enhancements and system improvements.
    • Support the testing, implementation, and adoption of new systems, processes, and tools.
    • Utilize operational data and reporting to identify trends and recommend improvements.
    Reporting & Business Support:
    • Oversee Loan Operations reporting and ensure information is accurate and delivered timely.
    • Monitor pipeline activity, branch balancing, workload reporting, and operational performance metrics.
    • Analyze key performance indicators and recommend actions to improve results.
    • Provide operational insights and recommendations to management and executive leadership.
    • Maintain strong relationships with AgFirst Farm Credit Bank, auditors, regulators, vendors, and other business partners.
    Professional Development & Other Responsibilities:
    • Stay informed on industry trends, regulations, and Association policies and procedures.
