Description

Kforce is partnering with a client in the Saint Louis area to identify a Senior Manager of FP&A for a high-visibility, hands-on leadership role. This position will own the FP&A function, partnering closely with senior leadership on financial planning, forecasting, reporting, treasury, and expense oversight. The ideal candidate will bring strong financial planning and analytical expertise, with the ability to provide clear insights and decision support across a growing, complex organization. Key Responsibilities:
  • Own the company-wide financial planning, forecasting, and reforecasting process across operations, projects, development, and corporate functions
  • Prepare consolidated P&L, cash flow, liquidity, and variance reporting to support senior leadership and capital allocation decisions
  • Lead quarterly LP and board reporting, including financial packages, performance insights, and special communications
  • Develop monthly management reporting, dashboards, and financial analysis to monitor company and project performance
  • Oversee development expense forecasting and approvals, identifying budget variances and upcoming funding needs
  • Manage treasury and cash activities, including daily cash monitoring, debt service schedules, and 13-week rolling cash flow forecasts
  • Partner closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to provide actionable financial insights and support strategic decision-making

Requirements:

  • 8-12 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or financial analysis, preferably within energy, infrastructure, project finance, or an institutionally backed organization
  • Proven ability to independently manage a broad FP&A function, balancing strategic planning with hands-on execution
  • Strong experience in financial modeling, forecasting, and multi-asset or project-based environments
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills, with familiarity with investor reporting and key performance metrics
  • Working knowledge of project finance, debt structures, and cash flow mechanics
  • Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to work effectively with senior leadership

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
