Description

Overview

With more than 45,000 employees and partners worldwide, the Customer Experience and Success (CE&S) organization is on a mission to empower customers to accelerate business value through differentiated customer experiences that leverage Microsoft's products and services, ignited by our people and culture. We drive cross-company alignment and execution, ensuring that we consistently exceed customers' expectations in every interaction, whether in-product, digital, or human-centered. CE&S is responsible for all up services across the company, including consulting, customer success, and support across Microsoft's portfolio of solutions and products. Join CE&S and help us accelerate AI transformation for our customers and the world.

The Customer & Commercial Success (CCS) organization, an organization within MCAPS-Core, is the connected engine that turns Microsoft's commercial strategy into execution at scale - making it simpler and faster for the field to win for every customer, in every segment, region, and role. The organization brings together planning, landing, execution excellence, services portfolio and delivery, and field activation across Account Team Unit (ATU), Solution Team Unit (STU), and Customer Success Unit (CSU) to accelerate customer value, drive growth, and strengthen the end-to-end experience across every customer moment.

Microsoft's field teams are at the forefront of helping customers realize value and accelerate transformation at the frontier of AI. Winning every customer moment depends on sellers having a clear, consistent, high-quality go-to-market approach-fit for purpose for their role, their industry, and their solution area-delivered with speed as the pace of product innovation accelerates.

As part of Microsoft Customer and Partner Solutions - Core (MCAPS-Core) and the Customer & Commercial Success organization, the Global Strategy & Operations (GSO) team turns strategy into execution at scale. GSO drives the rhythm of the commercial business-Commercial Business Overview, Cohorts, and IARs-and serves as the primary interface to Industry Marketing and Product Marketing to ensure the field has what it needs to win every customer moment.

The Senior Manager, Go-To-Market Orchestration & Field Readiness owns how Microsoft's go-to-market comes together for the field across the Industries and the Commercial Solution Areas (CSA). Operating as a high-influence individual contributor, you are the connective force across Industry Marketing, the Industry teams, Product Marketing, and the CSA go-to-markets-orchestrating these teams to deliver a coherent, high-quality GTM approach: the motions, narratives, and readiness sellers need to win, built with specificity by role and consistency across industries and solution areas.

Operating at the center of GSO, you own the end-to-end picture-working back from Cohorts and the engineering roadmap, through the product announcement lineup, to field landing. Through deep cross-functional influence and a bias for execution, you sequence briefings, SKUs, naming, and readiness so that every priority launch reaches the field ready to sell and accelerates the path to customer value. This is an orchestration role that drives outcomes across many teams without owning them directly.

Candidates who live within 50 miles of Microsofts Redmond campus will be required to work in the office 3 days per week.

Microsoft's mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. As employees we come together with a growth mindset, innovate to empower others and collaborate to realize our shared goals. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.

  • Ensure GTM motions and materials land effectively in the field through clear prioritization, sequencing, and change management, in partnership with GSO's field programs and performance excellence teams.
