As the strategic leader for our global Digital Growth and Account-Based Marketing programs, you will play a key role in crafting how Mendix reaches, engages, and converts priority audiences and accounts. You will lead the strategy for paid media and 1:1 and 1:few ABM, connecting digital investment and account-based programs to pipeline growth, customer expansion, and revenue outcomes.
You'll work closely with Sales, BDR, Customer Success, regional marketing teams, Marketing Operations, and agency partners to develop scalable, data-driven programs to engage buying groups across our most meaningful accounts.
This is a great opportunity for a strategic B2B marketer who is passionate about building growth engines, scaling high-performing digital programs, and creating strong alignment between Marketing and Sales.
Responsibilities:
Lead Global Digital Growth Strategy
Own the global paid media strategy across search, paid social, display, video, account-based advertising, and emerging digital channels. Define investment priorities across audiences, regions, and programs to enhance pipeline, revenue impact, and marketing efficiency.
Define and Scale the ABM Strategy
Lead the strategy for Mendix's 1:1 strategic account and 1:few ABM programs. Develop scalable frameworks, playbooks, and account-based motions that support new-logo acquisition, customer expansion, executive engagement, and opportunity acceleration.
Build Strong Sales and BDR Alignment
Partner closely with Sales and BDR leadership to align target-account priorities, campaign strategies, messaging, and follow-up motions. Ensure marketing programs support coordinated outbound efforts and create measurable engagement, meetings, and pipeline within target accounts.
Lead Paid Media Agencies and Partners
Manage global agency relationships, setting clear strategic direction, performance expectations, and optimization priorities. Ensure agency teams operate as an extension of the internal organization and deliver against business goals.
Drive Integrated, Buying-Group Marketing
Develop coordinated programs that engage partners across buying groups. Partner with Content, Product Marketing, Field Marketing, Customer Marketing, and regional teams to deliver connected experiences across paid media, web, outbound, events, and lifecycle channels.
Advance Marketing Technology and AI
Shape the roadmap for the Digital Growth and ABM technology stack, including Demandbase, Qualified, CRM, marketing automation, analytics, web personalization, and AI-powered tools. Find opportunities to improve targeting, personalization, automation, and campaign performance.
Measure and Optimize Business Impact
Define and track performance across campaigns, including account engagement, buying-group coverage, meetings generated, sourced and influenced pipeline, customer expansion, revenue, and return on investment. Translate performance data into clear recommendations for leadership and future investment.
Build Scalable Programs and Ways of Working
Establish processes, operating models, and standard methodologies that enable global consistency while allowing for regional flexibility. Mentor team members and help strengthen digital and ABM capabilities across the broader marketing organization.
