Deloitte's Global Business Services (GBS) team serves as a trusted advisor and thought partner to CFOs, CAOs, and other senior executives focused on captive and outsourced operations. We leverage Deloitte's capabilities, assets, and insights to help clients modernize enterprise functions-including Finance, HR, Technology, Procurement, and other back-office and core business functions-to improve financial and operational performance, manage risk, enable change, and increase strategic value.

As GBS and Global Capability Center organizations evolve beyond traditional cost-efficiency models, they are becoming enterprise platforms for AI-enabled decision-making, resilience, innovation, and growth. Our work helps clients design operating models that combine people, intelligent automation, data, and AI to deliver sustainable business outcomes.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager to join our Global Business Services team. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in multi-functional GBS operations, operating model design, technology-enabled transformation, and large-scale change execution, along with a strong understanding of how generative AI, agentic AI, and intelligent automation are reshaping service delivery. In this role, you will lead strategic transformation programs, design governance structures for AI-enabled environments, implement new capabilities at scale, and help clients optimize functional processes through leading and emerging technologies.

Recruiting for this role ends on 12/31/2026.

Work You'll Do

As a GBS Strategy Senior Manager, you will lead large, complex engagements for some of the world's leading organizations. You will oversee the strategy, design, and implementation of business and technology solutions that improve operational effectiveness, reduce costs, enhance organizational agility, and enable AI-supported service delivery.

You will help clients transform service delivery models, simplify and standardize operations, and drive value creation across core business functions. You will also help clients assess where work should be performed by people, automation, or AI agents; define appropriate human oversight and escalation points; and translate AI opportunities into practical operating model, workforce, governance, and implementation decisions.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead GBS transformation engagements spanning strategy, operating model design, governance, technology enablement, and implementation.
  • Develop and refine proposed solutions, presentation materials, economic models, and business cases for client opportunities.
  • Lead pursuits and support business development activities, including client sales presentations.
  • Align GBS strategies with broader enterprise objectives across senior client stakeholders.
  • Oversee the evaluation and implementation of business initiatives and enabling technologies within the GBS framework.
  • Advise clients on AI-enabled GBS strategies, operating models, and transformation roadmaps.
  • Lead the identification, prioritization, and business-case development of generative AI, agentic AI, and intelligent automation opportunities across GBS functions.
  • Design human-AI workflows that clarify where people, automation, and AI agents perform, monitor, approve, or escalate work.
  • Help clients move from isolated automation pilots to scaled and orchestrated AI capabilities across GBS pillars.
  • Establish practical governance, risk, control, and oversight approaches for the responsible use of AI in shared services and GCC environments.
  • Design and implement operating model structures and governance frameworks for GBS organizations.
  • Advise clients on governance processes and continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Oversee the design of internal customer service models, including workflow technologies, intelligent automation, omni-channel solutions, and persona-based service experiences.
  • Lead current-state process assessments and future-state process design to improve efficiency, cost, quality, and service delivery.
  • Guide the use of AI, automation, analytics, workflow, and enterprise platforms to enable streamlined and scalable processes.
  • Evaluate workforce implications of AI adoption and guide role redesign, reskilling, communications, training, and change management activities.
  • Guide the development of business cases, strategic storyboards, executive-ready presentations, and supporting materials.
  • Lead change management efforts supporting the implementation of new processes, technologies, AI-enabled capabilities, and organizational models.
  • Collaborate with Deloitte teams across the US, US-India, and global member firms to deliver integrated client solutions.
  • Oversee multiple project teams and ensure the quality, consistency, and impact of deliverables across large engagements.
  • Contribute to the evolution of Deloitte's GBS Strategy offerings through insights, solution development, and practice-building initiatives.
  • Help clients and colleagues build fluency in effective AI-enabled GBS operating models and the transition from automation pilots to embedded operations.
