Job Title: Sr Manager, Program Management, Finance Transformation (Contractor)
Location: Santa Clara, CA – Onsite
Pay Rate: $120–$166.67/hour W2
Duration: 3 Months (Possible Extension)

The Sr Manager, Program Management, Finance Transformation will lead strategic finance transformation initiatives across the CFO organization. This role will drive large-scale process and systems transformations, develop future-state finance processes, manage cross-functional programs, and deliver measurable operational efficiencies. The position will partner with Finance, Accounting, Tax, Operations, IT, RevOps, and Controllership stakeholders and oversee transformation enablement activities.

  • Drive finance transformation strategy, project execution, and operational improvements across the CFO organization.
  • Assess current-state processes and design future-state financial processes using first-principles analysis.
  • Lead complex, cross-functional finance transformation and systems implementation programs.
  • Develop program roadmaps, detailed project plans, success criteria, KPIs, change management strategies, and communication plans.
  • Structure complex initiatives into executable workstreams and manage project dependencies.
  • Prepare executive-level business cases, decision documents, presentations, and transformation deliverables.
  • Manage RAID items, project risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies through resolution.
  • Ensure adherence to transformation playbook and software development lifecycle milestones.
  • Support Finance, Tax, Operations, RevOps, Controllership, and IT transformation initiatives.
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews and measure realization of project value.

Education

  • MBA or equivalent Accounting/Finance degree required.
  • Equivalent professional or military experience may be considered.
  • CPA or equivalent certification preferred.

Required Skills

  • 8–10+ years of experience within technology organizations.
  • Finance transformation experience within a technology company.
  • PMO experience combining consulting and industry environments.
  • Large-scale finance systems implementation and transformation experience.
  • End-to-end financial process expertise, including Tax.
  • Financial systems and internal controls expertise within a global technology environment.
  • Complex program and project management.
  • Cross-functional finance transformation program delivery.
  • Process assessment and future-state process design.
  • Program roadmaps, project planning, and transformation governance.
  • RAID management and project dependency management.
  • Software development lifecycle milestone management.

Preferred Skills

  • CPA or equivalent accounting certification.
  • Experience supporting Tax, Operations, RevOps, and Controllership transformations.
  • Finance transformation consulting experience.
  • Change management and transformation enablement experience.
  • Post-implementation value realization and benefits tracking.
