Job Description:
The Senior Manager, Communications provides strategic leadership for the development, execution, and continuous evolution of an integrated communications strategy that advances the visibility, reputation, enrollment objectives, research impact, and philanthropic goals of Clark Universitys School of Climate, Environment, and Society (CES).
The Senior Manager is a pivotal integrator within the School and across the University enterprise, serving as the primary communications lead and key advisor to the Dean and School leadership team, ensuring that School-level communications align with the Universitys overall strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership for the development, execution, and continuous evolution of an integrated communications strategy
- Serve as the primary communications lead and key advisor to the Dean and School leadership team
- Ensure that School-level communications align with the Universitys overall strategic objectives
- Collaborate with various stakeholders across the University enterprise to advance the visibility, reputation, enrollment objectives, research impact, and philanthropic goals of the School of Climate, Environment, and Society
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in communications, preferably in a higher education setting
- Proven track record of developing and executing effective communications strategies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders across the University enterprise
