Senior Manager - CFO Strategic Advisory Services-
Building upon our 40+ year history of delivering strategic and financial advisory client engagements ranging across Fortune 50 size global industry leaders to Private Equity firms to middle market venture backed entities and philanthropic driven not for profits, Geller is launching additional offerings to expand our financial advisory solutions. Led by an industry veteran who has built similar businesses and supported by current and former client relationships, we are expanding and diversifying our offering and seeking an individual for this exciting ground floor opportunity to experience and deliver impactful practice growth and strategic and transformational client solutions, within the foundation of an already established and successful business. You will join a consulting team focused on modernizing and transforming finance organizations and their supporting systems. In this role, you will support Geller clients across the engagement lifecycle, from planning and execution through delivery of high-quality client-ready materials.
You will lead and participate in client and internal meetings; manage project budgets, invoicing, and engagement governance, as a senior member of the practice.

Your role will focus on delivering solutions across projects that draw on your strengths and experiences in Advisory Services, while also providing you opportunities to develop additional competencies and/or partner with other areas of Geller to leverage our historical capabilities and provide best in class service to solve client's challenges. The services offered will be strategic and transformative in nature, including projects that impact many areas of the client's ecosystem and position Geller as critical and recurring resource across other centers of advisory excellence within the Firm.
You will have the opportunity to collaborate with firm leadership to build, enhance, and institutionalize our approach to practice development, furthering accelerating your impact and opportunities. You will support proposals and onboarding, develop marketing collateral, and build repeatable deliverables and engagement frameworks. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented leader who delivers excellent client service, communicates clearly, manages multiple priorities to meet deadlines, keeps engagement leadership informed, escalates issues appropriately, and mentors' junior staff on technical skills and firm protocols. Excellent technical accounting skills are a requirement to provide subject matter expertise in the delivery of our services.

Your Impact:
Client Service & Delivery
Collaborate with the Project Executive/Practice Leader in delivering recurring strategic financial guidance
Advise client finance leaders, their boards, and decision makers on key strategic and transformative initiatives and projects
Diagnose and present solutions for client issues, while also embedding Geller as a trusted partner and solution for impactful and sustained business infrastructure opportunities
Prepare board/executive updates on results, risks, and progress.
Oversee in-house, client, and outsourced accounting teams as project scope dictates.
Deliver financial, accounting, and compliance projects for nonprofits, SaaS/emerging tech, high-growth middle-market, and PE-backed companies.
Lead consulting project planning and delivery (process improvement, operational assessments, compliance, and financial reporting).
Lead functional delivery across GL, close, reporting, controls, and data architecture.
Lead execution of project work related to business continuity, finance department operational assessments, P&P redesign, client staff evaluation, budgeting/forecasting development and analysis, audit preparation and support, etc.
Draft, improve and document accounting/finance policies and procedures.
Review internal control and data frameworks to address efficacy of current financials
Conduct industry and technical research to develop new solutions.
Collaborate with the Project Executive/Practice Leader in delivering end-to-end digital finance transformations (ERP and related Finance platforms, strategy, enablement, implementation, and program management).
Assess current state and define future-state architecture and roadmaps.
Advocate for the client to drive transformation, including:
Support system selection and vendor/platform evaluation.
Modernize close, automate reconciliations, and improve reporting.
Provide accounting SME to ensure solutions meet reporting objectives (
Partner with implementers on design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live optimization.

The base salary range for this position is:
$145,000 - $175,000
Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package includes medical, dental, vision, financial, and other benefits as well as the potential for an annual bonus consideration.
