Senior Manager, AI Infrastructure Compute

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is building some of the world's largest and most advanced GPU clusters to power the next generation of AI. Our team helps bring new GPU systems and racks into these clusters at scale.

As a Senior Manager, you will lead a software development team that designs, builds, and deploys new features and recipes to onboard new generations of GPU systems and racks into OCI's AI infrastructure. You will bring technical depth, architectural judgment, and distributed systems experience, along with strong people and process management skills. You should be comfortable diving into technical details, working in a collaborative and agile environment, and building systems that are simple, scalable, and reliable.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• 10+ years experience in software development

• 5+ years of experience delivering and operating large-scale, highly-available distributed systems

• 5+ years experience leading engineering teams

• BS/MS in Computer Science or a related technical field

• Demonstrated expertise in cloud engineering, networking, and distributed systems

• Demonstrated ability to identify and recruit very strong engineering talent

• Sustainably scale systems through tooling and automation

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear, concise manner to all audiences including senior leadership

• Results driven; thrives in a development environment that is agile, collaborative, and in start-up mode, even when faced with ambiguity and competing priorities
