Meet Our Team:

The Agile Delivery team enables teams across Information Technology to deliver meaningful business outcomes through effective planning, collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement. As Senior Manager, Agile Delivery, you will lead and develop a team of Agile Delivery professionals while helping evolve how work is planned, coordinated, delivered, and consistently executed across the org. You will partner closely with Product Management, Engineering, QA, Project Management, Business Analysis, and business stakeholders to improve delivery effectiveness across teams and value streams.

This is a leadership role for someone who can operate beyond individual teams by identifying systemic delivery challenges, improving ways of working, developing delivery talent, and helping leaders translate priorities into achievable outcomes.

Picture Yourself at Pega:

You are a delivery leader who understands that Agile is not simply a set of ceremonies or a prescribed framework. You focus on creating the conditions that allow teams to deliver value effectively and scale delivery practices and frameworks across disparate teams. You are equally comfortable coaching an Agile Delivery Lead, working with leaders to resolve a cross-team dependency, examining delivery data to identify a systemic issue, or helping teams adapt their ways of working to meet changing business needs.

What You''ll Do at Pega:

Lead and Develop the Agile Delivery Team

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Agile Delivery Leads supporting delivery teams and initiatives across Information Technology.
  • Establish clear expectations for the Agile Delivery Lead role and build capability in delivery leadership, facilitation, coaching, risk management, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, career development, and mentoring.
  • Build a strong community that shares practices, learns from experience, and continuously improves.
  • Support workforce and capacity planning to align Agile Delivery resources with organizational priorities.

Strengthen Delivery Across Teams

  • Partner with IT Product Management, Engineering, QA, Project Management, Business Analysis, and business stakeholders to establish effective approaches to planning and execution.
  • Identify systemic impediments, dependencies, delivery risks, and bottlenecks and work across organizational boundaries to address them.
  • Help teams improve predictability, transparency, flow, collaboration, and accountability.
  • Enable effective coordination when outcomes require contributions from multiple teams or functions.
  • Help teams select and evolve ways of working that are appropriate for the nature of the work while balancing the benefits achieved from standardized practices versus custom team-by-team solutions.

Connect Strategy, Priorities, and Execution

  • Support portfolio and cross-team planning by providing visibility into capacity, dependencies, risks, constraints, and delivery commitments.
  • Surface tradeoffs early and help stakeholders understand their impact on delivery commitments and outcomes.
  • Partner closely with the PMO to create alignment between portfolio governance and team-level delivery practices.

Evolve Agile and Delivery Practices

  • Lead the continued evolution of Agile and modern delivery practices across Information Technology.
  • Assess existing practices and identify opportunities to simplify processes, remove friction, and improve outcomes.
  • Coach teams and leaders on Agile principles and effective delivery practices.
  • Establish scalable approaches and guardrails while allowing teams flexibility in how they achieve outcomes.
  • Champion experimentation and continuous improvement rather than process compliance for its own sake.
  • Help the organization adapt delivery practices at scale and across disparate groups as technology, AI-enabled ways of working, and operating models evolve.

Use Data to Improve Delivery

  • Establish and evolve meaningful measures of delivery health and effectiveness and use these metrics to identify systemic challenges and improvement opportunities.
  • Enable leadership visibility into delivery health, risks, dependencies, constraints, and outcomes.
  • Help teams use data for learning and improvement rather than simply reporting activity.
  • Measure the impact of changes to delivery practices and adjust approaches based on results.

Influence and Lead Across the Organization

  • Build trusted relationships with IT leadersand teams, business stakeholders, and other PMO and Delivery groups outside of IT.
  • Influence decisions and resolve complex delivery challenges across organizational boundaries.
  • Facilitate difficult conversations around priorities, capacity, dependencies, risk, and delivery expectations.
  • Communicate delivery health, risks, tradeoffs, and recommended actions clearly to senior leaders.
  • Act as a change leader as Pega continues to evolve its technology delivery operating model.

Who You Are:

You are an experienced delivery leader who combines strong Agile expertise with practical business judgment. You understand that high-performing delivery organizations require more than adherence to a framework. They require clear priorities, strong teams, effective leadership, transparency, accountability, and the ability to adapt.

You:

  • Lead through influence, coaching, and accountability.
  • Are comfortable challenging established practices when they are no longer producing the desired outcomes.
  • Can move comfortably between strategic conversations and hands-on delivery problem-solving.
  • Understand how IT Product Management, Engineering, QA, Project Management, Business Analysis, and Agile Delivery work together.
  • Recognize organizational patterns and systemic delivery issues rather than focusing only on individual team problems.
  • Bring structure to ambiguity and help others make practical decisions.
  • Communicate complex delivery issues clearly and succinctly to senior leaders.
  • Develop people and create opportunities for others to lead.
  • Stay up to date on industry best practices and have the ability to seamlessly adopt and scale them into the organization's standard delivery model.

What You''ve Accomplished:

  • 10 or more years of experience in Agile delivery, technology delivery, program or project delivery, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience leading and developing Agile Delivery professionals, Scrum Masters, Agile Coaches, or comparable delivery roles.
  • Experience leading delivery and scaling best practices across multiple teams, products, programs, or value streams.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve complex cross-team risks, dependencies, and delivery impediments.
  • Experience partnering with Product Management, Engineering, QA, Project Management, Business Analysis, and business stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated success improving delivery practices, operating models, or organizational structure and ways of working.
  • Experience using metrics and delivery data to identify trends and drive improvement.
  • Strong facilitation, stakeholder management, coaching, conflict management, and executive communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and technology delivery practices.
  • Experience leading organizational change and influencing across teams without relying on direct authority.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Agile certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster, Professional Scrum Master, or a comparable Agile credential.
  • Experience with multiple delivery approaches and frameworks, including Scrum and Kanban.
  • Experience working in product-oriented or value-stream-based operating models.
  • Experience helping organizations evolve their delivery models in response to new technologies and AI-enabled ways of working.

Pega Offers You:

  • Gartner Analyst acclaimed technology leadership across our categories of products
  • Continuous learning and development opportunities
  • An innovative, inclusive, agile, flexible, and fun work environment
  • Competitive global benefits program inclusive of pay + bonus incentive, employee equity in the company
