The City of Simi Valley is seeking a dynamic and highly skilled professional to join the City Manager's Office as a Senior Management Analyst! This key role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact across the organization by leading high-level administrative, analytical, and project-driven work. Position Details:

Salary Range: $110,698.00 - $135,385.00 Annually + Excellent Benefits

Status: Full‑time, Regular

Work Schedule: 9/80

Minimum Qualifications:

Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:

Education/Training:

  • Equivalent to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in public administration, business administration or a related field.

Experience:

  • Five years of increasingly responsible administrative, analytical and/or budgetary experience including two years of administrative and/or lead supervisory experience.
  • Experience working with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System is highly desirable.

Job Description:

Senior Management Analyst

Ideal Candidate:

The Senior Management Analyst reports directly to the Assistant City Manager and also supports the City Manager, City Council, and community on a wide range of City programs and services. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Strong ownership of assignments and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • The ability to work effectively with limited direction and adapt to changing City needs.
  • Skill in building productive working relationships with City staff, community partners, and outside agencies.
  • Experience with Tyler Munis or other ERP systems.
  • Experience with website content management systems.
  • Experience with State and Federal grant reporting systems.
  • The ability to provide high-level support to executive leadership and elected officials.
  • Strong writing, organizational, analytical, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Sound judgment and professional business etiquette.
  • Willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends as required.
  • Comfort with managing a wide range of complex projects.
