Senior Maintenance Trainer

knowledge of maintenance and refrigeration principles, including mechanical, electrical, commercial/retail refrigeration, industrial refrigeration, and related troubleshooting concepts. High school diploma or equivalent combination of formal training/certification and professional work experience that demonstrates the prerequisite competence to perform the duties of this position.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent combination of formal training/certification and professional work experience that demonstrates the prerequisite competence to perform the duties of this position
• five years of experience in a maintenance related field, retail refrigeration, and/or delivering maintenance training
• three years’ experience explaining technical concepts, coaching others, or supporting hands-on skill development
• must be at least 20 years of age to operate a company vehicle
• knowledge of training delivery practices
• knowledge of OSHA 1910 General Industry standards, State Safety Statues, local municipal regulations
• knowledge of maintenance and refrigeration principles, including mechanical, electrical, commercial/retail refrigeration, industrial refrigeration, and related troubleshooting concepts

Preferred Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in a maintenance related field, retail refrigeration, and/or delivering maintenance training
• five years’ experience explaining technical concepts, coaching others, or supporting hands-on skill development
• EPA Universal Certification
• knowledge of adult learning theory, methodologies, and techniques
• knowledge of Publix’s internal safety policies and procedures (on the job training and/or prior experience)
• experience using Learning Management Systems (LMS)
• experience using Emerson Ultrasite Connect + or similar refrigeration controller software
