Senior Maintenance Technician

Piper Companies is seeking a skilled and dedicated Senior Maintenance Technician to join a dynamic and innovative biotechnology organization in Silver Spring, MD.

Essential Duties of the Sr Maintenance Technician :

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and building automation systems (BAS)
• Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and corrective repairs on critical building infrastructure
• Support GMP and non‑GMP spaces, ensuring work is performed in compliance with site SOPs and safety requirements
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams for repairs, upgrades, and inspections
• Complete work orders, maintenance logs, and documentation accurately and on time

Qualifications of the Sr Maintenance Technician :

• 5+ years of experience as a Lab Equipment Building Engineer or similar facilities role within GMP or biopharma space
• HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
• Experience in some type of regulated environment (GDP - Good Distribution Practice)

Compensation for the Sr Maintenance Technician :

• $75,000 to $100,000 based on experience
