The Opportunity
Gaines Investment Trust is seeking an experienced Roving Senior Maintenance Technician to support multiple apartment communities throughout the North Dallas and Plano area.
Based out of Greyson’s Gate Apartments, this role is ideal for a highly skilled maintenance professional who enjoys variety, solving complex problems, and working across multiple communities. You'll handle day-to-day maintenance while also supporting renovations, capital improvements, and special projects.
What You'll Do
- Complete maintenance and service requests across multiple communities
- Diagnose and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and general maintenance issues
- Perform preventative maintenance and property inspections
- Assist with apartment turns and prepare homes for new residents
- Support renovations, capital improvements, and special projects
- Maintain pools, amenities, common areas, and property appearance
- Coordinate priorities with onsite maintenance and property management teams
- Provide professional, responsive service to residents
- Participate in the rotational on-call schedule for maintenance emergencies
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of multifamily or related maintenance experience
- HVAC Certification required
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO) Certification required
- Strong HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, carpentry, and general troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities across multiple communities
- Strong organization, communication, and customer service skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Residence within the North Dallas/Plano area
- Availability for rotational on-call and occasional after-hours emergencies
