Who We Are
White Lodging develops and operates a portfolio of award-winning premium hotels, rooftop bars, and restaurants in some of the country's most dynamic cities. We know that the hospitality business, like life, is about how you make people feel. That's where you come in. You'll help bring the virtue of hospitality to life while we create an environment that allows you to be your best self and grow.
We are hiring an experienced Senior Maintenance Technician to join our hotel engineering team. This is a hands-on technical leadership role for a skilled hotel maintenance professional with demonstrated experience in boiler systems, HVAC, plumbing, and commercial mechanical repair. If you're a senior hotel engineer, lead maintenance technician, or experienced facilities technician looking for a stable, full-time position with a top-tier hospitality company — and you bring the mechanical depth to support a Chief Engineer and mentor junior engineering staff — this is your next move. With multiple hotel properties in each market, White Lodging offers more career mobility and growth opportunities than a single-property employer ever could.
What You'll Do
Ensure the hotel's maintenance and upkeep standards consistently meet White Lodging, brand, and guest expectations across all areas of the property
Support the Chief Engineer in overseeing and supervising all aspects of the hotel's engineering and facilities function
Proactively perform repair, maintenance, alteration, and installation work — including boiler systems, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and commercial kitchen equipment — in a safe and professional manner
Identify and repair all mechanical failures across hotel systems, including HVAC units, boilers and chillers, plumbing, electrical systems, and commercial appliances
Provide technical guidance and hands-on support to junior engineering associates as needed
Maintain clear communication with supervisors to ensure all required materials, tools, and supplies are available or on order
Perform other duties as assigned
What You'll Bring
Proven experience in commercial boiler systems, HVAC repair and maintenance, and plumbing — required; this role demands strong mechanical depth across all three disciplines
Previous experience in commercial appliance repair or commercial mechanical work — including kitchen equipment repair, electrical systems, and boiler/chiller operations — required
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, mechanical specifications, and equipment operating instructions
One year of trade school, vocational training, or equivalent hands-on technical experience — required
High school diploma or equivalent — required
Physical ability to lift and carry up to 10 lbs. regularly and up to 25 lbs. occasionally; ability to stand and move for extended periods in an active hotel environment
