Alexandria Industries is seeking a skilled Senior Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment across all departments while providing guidance and support to the maintenance team. This role is key to ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operations throughout the facility.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Troubleshoot and repair machinery and equipment across all departments
  • Promote and maintain a strong safety‑first culture
  • Respond to maintenance needs and emergency situations during and outside standard hours
  • Support, coach, and train less experienced maintenance team members
  • Review work orders, set priorities, and communicate action plans
  • Develop preventive maintenance procedures and schedules
  • Document repairs and maintain accurate records
  • Identify and recommend process and equipment improvements
  • Coordinate repair schedules with supervisors
  • Prepare parts lists and assist with budgeting maintenance projects
  • Maintain knowledge of advanced manufacturing and automation technologies

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in Machine Tool Technology, Mechatronics, or related field preferred
  • 1+ years of experience with PLCs, CNC, machining, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, plumbing, or machine repair
  • OR 5+ years of maintenance‑related experience
  • Strong technical, troubleshooting, and leadership skills
  • Ability to read electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics and blueprints
  • Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Strong communication, coordination, and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and respond to on‑call needs
  • Ability to use inspection and measuring tools
