Preventative Maintenance (40%) • Perform routine tasks such as greasing bearings, changing belts, changing oil, performing inspections, cleaning equipment, etc to maintain equipment reliability. • Support production workers during routine preventative maintenance activities; (TPM). • Identify key preventative tasks and implement them into company CMMS, to increase machine reliability. • Optimize machine cycle times to maximize machine output.  Equipment Repair (25%) • Install, repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment. • Dismantle machinery to remove or replace defective parts. • Optimize use of maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies needed to repair equipment to OEM standards. • Repair facility and building items as needed. Equipment Troubleshooting (25%) • Identify complex electrical, mechanical and pneumatic problems on production machinery and facility equipment.  • Locates sources of problems by observing machinery in operation. • Utilize tools to isolate malfunctioning equipment (ex. Multimeter, tachometer, calipers, etc.). • Maximize machine output by optimizing machine cycle times.  Administrative (10%) • Log all work performed into the Company CMMS. • Complete end of shift reports communicating between maintenance and production departments. • Order replacement parts for stock or parts for repair. • Work with other departments to schedule downtime for repairs.  • Performing housekeeping, making sure area is clean at all times. • High school diploma or equivalent • Associates Degree in related field or Technical Certificate highly desired.  • 5+ years experience maintaining and repairing equipment in a manufacturing environment.  Specialized Skills and Experience: • Good computer skills including Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, Outlook) • Good English language skills both verbal and written (Spanish speaking a plus) Travel Requirement:  • Occasional travel as required.   Physical Requirements: • Must pass pre-employment physical. • Lift:   Must be able to lift and/or carry a minimum of 50 pounds. • Push/Pull: Must be able to push/pull 50 pounds. • Stand: Must be able to stand 80% - 85% of the day. • Sitting: Must be able to sit 25% of the day. • Twisting/Bending: Must be able to twist/bend 75% of the day.  • Squatting, Climbing and/or Crawling: Must be able to squat/climb/crawl 25% of the day. • Able to work on heights, climb several flights of stairs (over 5 stories) daily if required.
