Your Core Impact

• Keep Production Moving: Perform heavy-duty diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and fast repairs on high-voltage electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and specialized equipment.
• Lead People & Projects: Communicate shift goals and policy updates; recognize top performers; address underperformance with clear expectations, counseling, warnings, or formal discipline; align frequently with your supervisor on problems and solutions.
• Own Contractor Outcomes: Direct a diverse mix of onsite contractors to complete major repairs and structural improvements safely and efficiently.
• Support Production Equipment: Troubleshoot automated/manual machinery; deliver specialized maintenance for industrial welding and abrasive blasting systems.
• Protect the Facility: Maintain commercial HVAC, electrical distribution, site plumbing, and safety systems including fire suppression and detection.
• Respond & Prevent: Handle emergency call-outs and daily PM across any machine or infrastructure asset.
• Measure What Matters: Document work orders, maintenance logs, and spare parts in a CMMS aligned to ISO 9000 standards.

Tools of the Trade

• Mastery of hand and power tools plus specialized electrical test instruments.
• Inspection, upkeep, and minor repair coordination for yard staging machinery and construction assets.

What You Bring

• Experience: 5+ years in facilities maintenance within manufacturing, heavy industry, or construction.
• Leadership: Proven lead, crew leader, or foreman background coordinating teams and contractors.
• Technical: Advanced proficiency preferred in 3‑phase electrical, motor controls, hydraulics, and pneumatics; adept at reading complex blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
• Digital Fluency: PC and Windows proficiency; strong database experience preferred; comfortable in a CMMS workflow.
• People & Process: Excellent multitasking, interpersonal, and organizational skills for a fast-paced fabrication floor.
• Language: Basic English (written and verbal) to read industrial drawings and record safety documentation.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

• Environment: Safety-sensitive role primarily in temperature-controlled industrial spaces with occasional outdoor and non-climate-controlled work.
• PPE: Safety shoes, hard hats, bump caps, safety glasses, hearing protection, safety harnesses, and respirators as required.
• At Heights: Work from step and A-frame ladders and elevated structures up to approximately 20 feet with proper lift and fall protection.
• Agility & Endurance: Maintain balance while walking/standing/crouching; frequent bending and reaching; prolonged standing and walking; frequent overhead and full-extension arm work.
• Lifting: Frequently lift up to 50 lbs; occasionally handle loads of 60+ lbs; frequent use of hand and power tools.
• Vision: Close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception; ability to adjust focus; strong hand–eye coordination.
