Description

Job Title: Senior Maintenance Planner

Location: Barceloneta, PR

Salary Range: $30-$35/hr

 

Introduction

This position involves workload planning activities that expedite, streamline, and enhance productivity for services provided by the maintenance department. A self-starter who challenges the status quo is essential for this role.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent in a trades-related field, with a minimum of 10 years in Industrial Mechanics, Electronics, Electricity, HVAC, Instrumentation, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a Maintenance Planning Role or equivalent experience performing maintenance planning-related tasks.
  • Must possess good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must have multi-skilled trades capability and be familiar with the application and operation of all basic maintenance tools and equipment used by various trades groups.
  • Prior work experience at the client or in the client's industry.
  • Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • Knowledgeable of various computer systems and programs used in maintenance operations.
  • Familiarity with client policies and procedures involving and impacting maintenance operations.
  • Experience in coordinating work with other trades or groups and with operating departments, managers, and facility engineers.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Identify jobs to be planned and create time and resource estimates by conducting field checks and reviewing work requests.
  • Coordinate work with other trades or groups and with operating departments, managers, and facility engineers, ensuring conformance with standards, codes, specifications, and expectations.
  • Procure equipment, materials, and specialized tools required to perform work by contacting external suppliers for proposals for service and materials.
