Senior Maintenance Mechanic

Our global client is hiring a Senior Maintenance Mechanic for first shift!
Responsibilities of the Senior Maintenance Mechanic
- Apply your maintenance mechanic expertise to repair and maintain machinery, maintain the facility and repair forklifts if needed
- Maintain and repair machinery including electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics and other aspects for machinery used in metal forming
- Weld as needed, handle carpentry such as for the building of racks and carts for use in the warehouse section of a very new 100,000 square feet facility
- Handle predictive, corrective and preventative maintenance for your designated shift. First shift starts at 7 am cst Monday to Friday
Requirements of the Senior Maintenance Mechanic
- High School graduate
- Five or more years of full-time experience as a maintenance mechanic preferably in a manufacturing type of setting and more experience is preferred
- Well-rounded with machine repair, welding, carpentry, electrical controls, electronics, pneumatics and hydraulics as well as facility maintenance such as basic building repair
- The ability to program PLC's is a plus
- A strong hands-on aptitude with the ability to use hand and other tools on the shop floor as needed

Compensation for the Senior Maintenance Mechanic
The annual starting salary for this position will be $45.00 per hour to $50.00 per hour with outstanding benefits
