    Now Hiring: Senior Litigation Secretary

    Los Angeles, CA | Full-Time

    Our established insurance defense law firm is seeking a highly organized and experienced Senior Litigation Secretary to join our team. If you have 3–7 years of insurance defense experience and thrive in a fast-paced legal environment, we'd love to hear from you.

    The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced in supporting attorneys through all phases of litigation.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide comprehensive administrative support to litigation attorneys.
    • Prepare, revise, and finalize legal documents, pleadings, discovery, motions, and correspondence.
    • File documents in California state and federal courts, including e-filing.
    • Maintain attorney calendars, schedule hearings, depositions, mediations, and client meetings.
    • Coordinate service of process and manage deadlines to ensure compliance with court rules.
    • Organize and maintain electronic and physical case files.
    • Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and vendors.
    • Assist with trial preparation, including assembling trial notebooks, exhibits, and witness materials.
    • Enter attorney time and assist with billing as needed.

    Qualifications

    • 3–7 years of litigation secretary experience in insurance defense required.
    • Strong knowledge of California court rules, filing procedures, and litigation deadlines.
    • Experience with California state and federal court e-filing.
    • Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
    • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software.
    • Ability to work independently while supporting multiple attorneys in a fast-paced environment.
