Job Title: Senior Library Associate Specialist

About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our client's team in the library sector. In this role, you will contribute to supporting the moving and storage of library physical materials, managing library mail operations, and ensuring the security and cleanliness of storage areas.
Responsibilities
- Support the moving and storage of library physical materials and mail to and from various locations.
- Perform shipping, receiving, and physical storage preparation throughout library facilities.
- Assure security, orderliness, and cleanliness of all receiving, storage, and stockroom areas.
- Oversee the day-to-day operation of the Rockefeller loading dock and mailroom areas.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent, with two years post-secondary education or equivalent experience.
- Ability to read and write English.
- Accuracy in counting, weighing, and recording data.
- Ability to function as an effective member of a team.
- Excellent communication and customer relation skills.
- Must possess and maintain a valid US county-issued motor vehicle operator’s license.
- Physical strength and stamina for prolonged standing, lifting, and carrying heavy library materials.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience driving a box or similar size truck is preferred.
